Reflecting and honoring our past with renewed energy and vision for the future

Miami Beach Community Church prepares for its second century of faith and service on Lincoln Road

We continue with our multi-layer restoration of our campus on Lincoln road. A full restoration of our 1921 sanctuary – our lovely Mediterranean Revival building, designed by famed architect Walter DeGarmo and built on land donated by Carl and Jane Fisher. As MBCC approaches our Centennial Celebration in 2021, it is our hope and passion to continue to service our community with renewed energy, vision, faith, love and a fully renovated campus for the next 100 years!

Church services are being provided in Hice Hall during construction. Entrance is at 1620 Drexel Ave. We hope that you join us on this journey and help us to make new memories, friendships and traditions. We are a church of the open door, open mind and open heart – Miami Beach Community Church.

Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
Isaiah 40:30-31

Restoration update

The interior column restoration is almost completed. Due to the condition of the columns, it was necessary for each column to be restored one at a time instead of simultaneously as originally plan.

Restoration continues on the exterior north cast stone frontispiece.

Replacing the roof and exterior repairs are ongoing.

Estimated Completion of the Sanctuary - Summer 2019
