Matthew 25 provides nutritional meals for the homeless, the elderly, and families within the community. Breakfast is served in Hice Hall, Tuesday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Volunteers are welcomed and are asked to fill out a background check form. Following breakfast is a morning devotional service held in the Sanctuary. We also offer recovery group meetings on Tuesday’s and peer group counseling on Thursday morning beginning at 8:30 a.m.
We currently have partnerships with various organizations throughout Miami and Miami Beach, such as; Barry University and Miami-Dade College School of Nursing, who help assist with blood pressure screenings, glucose testing, and wound care. HIV/AIDS testing is offered through Care Resource. Miami Beach Homeless Outreach Program located at 555 17th Street offers services for the homeless who are seeking to find shelter, bus tickets, social security and Florida ID card replacement.
