Our Church

…A new kind of church with an old tradition... The Miami Beach Community Church is a church that welcomes all Christians, both Protestant and Catholic, under the sponsorship of the United Church of Christ. We invite you to enter into an atmosphere of love and acceptance - into a climate of freedom where you are free to work out your salvation, personally and individually, as you learn more about the Bible and its relevance to you in the context of the challenges you face today. Our church is open and welcoming to all lifestyles, as signified by our motto: "Where everybody is somebody and Jesus Christ is Lord." Our members are not bound to any specific creed, but, rather, all adhere to the following: ...in essentials - UNITY ...in non-essentials - LIBERTY ...in all things - CHARITY (LOVE) The Miami Beach Community Church welcomes all Christians – whether attired in shirtsleeves or jackets. Blessed with a tradition of fine music, the services are enhanced by an adult choir, which is composed of professional voices supplemented by volunteers from the church and community. Truly inspirational, the choir and soloists are sure to lift your soul and warm your hearts with the music of God. The local church is governed entirely by its members. You may join by transfer of church letter, or by reaffirmation of faith when no letter is available, and by affirmation of faith when there has been no previous Christian commitment. Affiliated with the United Church of Christ denomination, the Community Church is firmly based in the Trinitarian tradition, believing in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
